TEAMLEIDER WAREHOUSE M/V (40 uur p/w).
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you and your teams (Order Picking, Packing, Forwarding/Transport
Planning and Inbound/Returns), currently about 15-25 FTEs, work daily to achieve the best result from
the logistics operation. In this managing role, you and your team are constantly looking for the
optimization of the work processes. You manage on various standards, including safety,
quality and productivity. You are able to take your team to the next level through coaching
and repetitive conversations. In addition, you have an eye for bottlenecks or deviations in the
processes you know from A to Z and you initiate improvements that you coordinate with your
manager, Warehouse Manager. Furthermore, you are responsible for:
• organizing and managing your team (15-25 FTE), so that the set safety standards, quality and productivity are achieved;
• planning, coordinating and controlling warehouse activities aimed at providing the highest possible quality of service to the customer;
• proactively identifying deviations from the level of productivity or quality;
• continuous improvement of your team/department and you participate in projects aimed at improving the organization and our processes;
• report on the actual deployment of personnel, equipment and resources.
Profile of the ideal candidate
Quality- and process-driven people manager with:
• MBO+ working and thinking level with 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• You have knowledge and experience in managing and improving operational processes;
• You are used to focusing on KPIs such as delivery reliability, productivity versus costs and stock reliability;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• You are (quickly) well versed in modern software packages such as Office, and WMS (Warpspeed);
• Good command of the Dutch or English language
